I am a quiet man, and a world traveler.
Worked in Yosemite Park in California for a number of years.
For the last year I have lived in a homemade camper trailer traveling about the USA from coast to coast, deserts to mountain.

A good storyteller knows how to listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am preparing to move to Belize to try my hand at a little farming. I will be taking my trailer and jeep to a port in Florida and having it shipped to Belize which takes about three weeks. I will need a place to stay for while I am waiting for my flight. Posable a week or two in mid August.

Interests

Have a AA in art. I worked at and operated a deli in a heath food store for a few years and am an avocet of healthy living.
I read, play a little guitar, travel well and like very much to listen to stories.

Music! Celtic, folk music, old classic songs, campfire songs, jazz.
Movies: Brother Son - Sister Moon, Kingdom of Heaven, Mother Theresa, Gandhi.
Books: fairytales, history, westerns, mystery, old classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled all over the USA and some parts of China, and Jamaica.
Raised three adopted children and one of the regular kind.
Returned to University at 47 years of age.
Built and lived in a caravan, and a cob house.
Survived cancer.
