In recent years I’ve become very interested in understanding world events and have done a little digging and my perspective on the world continues to evolve.

My exploration of world affairs online drew me passionately toward Russia, and other former Soviet States.

Through the HelloTalk app and the Telegram app, I have made several remote friends and acquaintances in Russian speaking countries. Some of these people are very dear to me, and our friendships continue.

Under Ukrainian Entrepreneur, Natalie Dutchenko and her program titled “Study Less”I curated some online classes of advanced English speakers from Ukraine and Russia in 2020 and 2021.

I’m living in Russia now, since April 2024, and I’m studying the Russian language, six months now with teachers ( I started in December ). I have lived most of my life in Louisville, Kentucky USA, but I have also spent periods in rural Appalachia, Colorado, Hawaii and California in the U.S.

I like people in general and meeting new people. I’ve traveled in the past and being in Russia is a huge adventure and challenge now.

I am divorced and have a 25-year-old son in Louisville, Kentucky. When I'm asked about amazing things I've done, I always think of fathering my son, who is an amazing person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some music, can play a little though I'm not professional, can teach a blues lick or two on piano, maybe a folk song on guitar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The main thing is to share about each other's lives, our worlds, contries, culture, ideas about the world. Western politics seems to try to prevent building friendships between Americans and Russians, but they are not succeeding at stopping me. What's really going on behind the narrative? If you enjoy talking about that regarding media and politics we can, but if you don’t like the subject we can discuss other things. I am currently living on a dairy farm near Chekhov in the South Western part of the Moscow Oblast. I might be able to have overnight guests but you can also visit during the day if you are in the area. Look up Black Fox farm on Yandex maps.

Благодаря украинской предпринимательнице Наталье Дутченко и ее программе "Учись меньше" я курировала несколько онлайн-классов для продвинутых носителей английского языка из Украины и России в 2020 и 2021 годах.

Сейчас я живу в России, с апреля 2024 года, и изучаю русский язык, уже шесть месяцев с преподавателями (начал в декабре). Большую часть своей жизни я прожил в Луисвилле, штат Кентукки, США, но также проводил время в сельской местности Аппалачей, Колорадо, на Гавайях и в Калифорнии в США.
