Overview
About Me
I was born in a small country town in South Australia and played just about every sport imaginable.
I left home at 17 and was fortunate enough to work on some of the largest constructions jobs all over Australia, and this gave me the freedom and independence to explore the world.
I enjoy running, cycling, playing sports (football, soccer, golf and padel). I also enjoy reading(kindle for convenience) and some of the books I have read this year include Sophie's World, Waking Up and My Story by Steven Gerrard.
I am currently on my way back to South America to live for the next years, I fell in love with Latin America last time I was there and can wait to return!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have realized that the best way to discover a city is to talk with the locals. It doesn't matter where you are, If you can find a way to make friends with someone that lives there, your experience will be a lot more unique.
I hope to meet people from all over the world while I'm traveling, and whenever I settle in a location, host likeminded travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho. I have gifted this to over 20 people since I discovered it and I recommend that everyone should read it.
Music: People usually say "I listen to everything", which is exactly what I want to say. Well, anything but country. And since living in Colombia I have started listening to reggaeton a lot more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Medellín, Colombia.
I spent 4 months living with a family, studying Spanish and learning the culture of the Colombian people. It was an amazing experience that I hope everyone in life could try at least once.
I also moved to El Salvador to start an adventure tour business which is still operating.

English is my mother tongue, and I also speak Spanish moderately. So I am glad to do a language exchange wherever I am.
