Overview
About Me
I grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI in the Midwest of the United States. I spent my childhood learning how to play drums and eventually played in various jazz and punk bands. Before i departed on my travels i spent the majority of my time working in kitchens and going out and playing local punk and metal shows. I was in 2 bands before i left called Ramma Lamma (Rock N' Roll) and Manger Danger (Punky, Thrashy, Hardcore). I eventually left the bands to travel the world and grow as a person. Though i love playing music its not what i would like to do for a living. I am on a personal journey to discover who i am and where i fit in the world. I have an open mind and i want to learn many new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have joined couchsurfing because i want to meet new and interesting people. To stay in a locals house compared to a guesthouse or hotel you have the opportunity to learn more about the language, food and culture that most people would just end up passing by.
Interests
I am interested in permaculture, natural earth construction, rehabilitation of endangered species, local cultures and different ways of living, spirituality, alternative forms of medicine, music, art, rock climbing, hiking, trekking, living in a more sustainable way with little to know impact on the surrounding environment. My mane goal is to find peace within my self and the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is a tough question because I love all music. Though the majority of the bands i played in were punk bands i have a love for everything from Frank Sinatra to Arca, Big band to Electronica, Toxic Holocaust to Elliot Smith. when it comes to books my favorites include Papillion, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Into the Wild. My favorite movies include The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Pulp Fiction, Detroit Rock City, anything with Tom Hanks, Mrs Doughtfire, and True Romance.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing i have done was hitchhiked from Northern Thailand all the way to the Southern Islands. I worked and stayed on permaculture farms and stayed in various small cities and towns. I also spent 6 weeks in Brazil as a research assistant climbing trees in the Mata Atlantica rainforest collecting samples.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share my experience with people and learn from everyone. Everyone you meet has something to teach you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
