CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from university in Toronto, Canada and decided to pursue my dream of becoming an English teacher. It definitely hasn't been easy but I am learning and growing so much. I really enjoy cooking, hiking and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I really don't have much of a philosophy. I am working to build a more positive relationship with myself and hoping to bring people into my life that can help me with that. I try my best to be honest and empathetic but, like all things, it's a process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a member of couch surfing for a few years now but only recently started utilizing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter, of course! I love sci fi movies and books and anything related. I am really into movies, as well as essentially anything and everything that Netflix has produced (OITNB, Daredevil). Musically I really just enjoy pop, acoustic guitar covers and love reggae and dancehall (especially for a night out).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve travelled all across Canada from Halifax to Calgary, and in 2006, spent a month hiking and canoeing in the Yukon and Alaska area. I have read all the Harry Potter books at least 6 times each. I did an internship in Nanjing, China in 2014, which was a very interesting experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would absolutely LOVE if you could cook or teach me how to cook one of your favourite dishes. I love cooking and love learning how to make new things and appreciate recipes and foods from around the world!
