About Me

I love to travel, I love learning and having fun.

I have worked for one of the largest news agencies, in politics in the u.k, have been a singer in a band, co founded a small charity back in the u.k and visited all continents apart from Antarctica. My last trip went for 12 months and saw me visiting non-profits, learning about the social/political environments of different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on my way around Asia currently and looking to learn and experience more of a local side to things whilst trying to manage budget better. It's a win/win for me in that respects, hopefully it will be for you too.

Would love to return the favour to hosts if they ever find themselves in London.

Music, Movies, and Books

Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins; World Order by Henry Kissinger; How the World Works by Noam Chomsky.

Like most music, would love to listen to some of your favourite music.

Favourite films includes Patch Adams, City of God, Avatar and good documentaries like Blood in the mobile, Black Gold, End of The Line etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Egypt during the 2013 protests. Seeing millions of people stand up for their beliefs, irrespective of how they're formed is a powerful thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learnt how to make massaman curry, mango and sticky rice, chicken with cashew nuts and Prawn Tom Yum soup in Thailand. If you have a sweet tooth too I can rustle up a pudding or two too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A flexible personality, have grown accustomed to being happy when left to own devices but equally at ease when talking about life, travelling, experiences and when wanting to find out about the country you're in, especially the local foods :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Fiji, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
