ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Will, been travelling since 2010 and hope it can continue for much longer! Did working holiday visa's in Australia and New Zealand and then travelled Asia and South America with the money I saved. Currently in India with my girlfriend experiencing another culture. After India I am going to Italy and France for New Year before heading back to Brazil to hopefully teach English.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to have a good time in everything I do and make the most of every opportunity. I also love to learn about different ways of living.

"Classic" books by authors such as Tolstoy, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Flaubert, Dickens etc. And films by Tarantino, Scorsese, Steve Mcqueen and anything a bit different really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After spending weeks walking through jungles in Borneo trying to spot (amongst other things) a hornbill. I came out of my bungalow early one morning and there were two perched on a branch a few meters away from me.

Whilst in Myanmar I was approached by two monks who showed me around Mandalay and then asked if I could come to their English class. Next thing I knew I was helping a class full of monks with their conversational English answering deep questions like "what is my burning desire" along with the classic "which football team do you support".

During my trip driving up the west coast of Australia when the sun was beginning to set we used to pull off of the road and into the "bush" find a place to sleep for the night. We then would sit on the roof of the car and eat our dinner as the sun dropped over the uninterrupted horizon and the blue sky was replaced with a beautiful dome of stars, stretching on for infinity.
