I am a young marine scientist, currently working at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, MA. I was born in Chicago, raised in Pittsburgh, and returned to Chicagoland for university- clearly I have a soft spot for the midwest. But my passion is the ocean, specifically, understanding how marine ecosystems function and how to best conserve them.

My other interests include music (playing, listening, talking/reading about it), surfing, and enjoying almost anything else outdoors (especially searching for any kind of wild animals).
