ABOUT ME

I'm 24, student at the university of Rennes 2, France, I'm studying for my Master degree (in English), what does it have to do with Japanese? Let's say that I had the opportunity to come here and learn a new language, I really wanted to come to Japan, that's the only way to really learn Japanese.I'm planning a trip to the 本土in February-March. At least 3 weeks, maybe 4. I don't really know where I 'll sleep yet... I hope I can do some couchsurfing ^^ (hence my recent subscription), if not I suppose I'll sleep in McDonalds and Internet Café.I think I'll go to Kobe and travel to Tokyo, I'll visit Osaka, Kyoto and many others I suppose.

Hosting, surfing, activities... there’s a lot to do here. What’s your favorite way to get involved? Hosted a couple of times, surfed quite a few times during my trip in Japan. Of course what I prefer to do is surfing, simply because it means I'm on holidays and I'm travelling !

Interests

Playing guitar, video games, playing tennis (I suck) playing baseball (I can't throw straight!), watching movies, partying, meeting people ... the average guy I suppose.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music ... Ben Harper has been my favorite singer by far for a long time. Now I listen to various style, mainly rock, but also classic ... I really like to listen to movies/video games/animations 's original soundtrack... Love Ennio Morricone. (The Legend of 1900)
About movies, well nothing peculiar I guess, Star wars, Lord of the rings, Back from the future, the James Bond movies and some French movies... Plus a lot of American series and Japanese animations.how about litterature... most of books I had to read during my studies were boring, I like Marc Levy, Harlan Coben, Bernard Werber, Harry Potters books... I don't read as much as I should.

Travelled a whole month in Japan by myself, I met great people, great hosts too, made a few friends :) It was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

What kinds of skills or information could you share with someone? What would you like to learn?What skills do i have? I can play the guitar alright, and... that's it, that's my only skill. I'm good at video games too, but it's not easy to share that with others. I used to give guitar lessons to 2 of my friends (ultra beginners), they seemed to enjoy it.And obviously if you're interested in French culture I suppose that's a topic I'm an expert in, as a frenchman ... right ? I can cook crepes !
