ABOUT ME
I'm currently a grad student in US History at Princeton. Before this, I grew up in London, studied in Oxford, and then spent some time working in politics.
I'm a big fan of sarcasm, theater, and social justice.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is probably best described as 'confused': from Bob Dylan, bluegrass and the blues to twee pop, Fela Kuti and Shostakovitch.
I try to have a novel on the go at all times, and I'm an unashamedly huge fan of Martin Amis, Alan Hollinghurst and Graham Greene's work.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in college, I ran a campaign to win the Living Wage for all staff at Oxford University. We brought together a diverse, passionate group of people who were all angry that so many members of our university community weren't paid enough to live a decent life. Through hard work, dedication and a bit of luck, we achieved our aims, and persuaded the university administration to give all its lowest-paid staff a big pay-rise.
