ABOUT ME

I am an artist and an animator. I went to the University of Chicago and majored in Physics and Economics - yeah, I'm making really great use of my degrees!

I used to perform with a small circus in Chicago called Le Vorris & Vox Circus, as a juggler and magician. During my time with the circus, I learned to ride a unicycle, build bicycles, and twist balloons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is awesome! I was working in Italy during the summer of 2008 and couchsurfed around Europe. I had a really wonderful time doing it and was inspired by all the great people I met to start hosting. My roommates and I are now having an excellent time hosting people in Chicago!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a tandem bicycle by cutting apart two bicycles I found in the trash and welding them together. I then painted it leopard-print at the suggestion of a friend and named it "Sheena the Leopard". It still works, sort of.
