About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new friends and see the world!
To connect with interesting people, have fun, and help travelers find a place to stay.
I have been hosted by great, generous souls during my trips; I now wish to give back to the community by hosting travelers and help them out in their visit.
Interests
I enjoy:
- playing music and listening to music
- drawing and painting
- playing board games and video games
- taking strolls, hiking
- cooking, enjoying all sorts of foods and drinks
- learning languages
- random activities and spontaneous ideas!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - progressive rock, metal, classical, jazz. Mostly. I like intricacy in music!
Books - John Green, Zadie Smith, A. S. King and Haruki Murakami are among my favorite writers. But since my job involves reading all day long, I don't read much in my spare time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completed the Shikoku pilgrimage on foot (1200 km, 20 km/day, for two months) in 2017.
Stayed on a farm in the Japanese Alps for 2 months, and planted rice by hand!
I also played "fetch" with a dolphin once. Until it bit me. It was awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me your language, and I will teach you French! Anything you want; from poetry to naughty words.
I am not a very good cook, but I enjoy cooking and eating good food. If you're at my place, I will make sure you eat properly! (Vegetarians and vegans are welcome too!)
If you're up for a few drinks, I can show you a drinking game you've never heard of. Laughter and fun guaranteed!
While you stay at my place, I can guide you almost anywhere you want, as long as I'm available. Just ask!
I want to practice my Japanese! So if you're from Japan, let's meet!
