In 2020 I'll be heading to South and Central America. I embrace those who want to discover Ireland in a unique way. Helping people avoid the tourist traps and meet real Irish people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hostel people from Taiwan to California and everywhere inbetween. I always do my best to help hosts get the most authentic experience in my hometown of Dublin and introduce them to a social side of Dublin you can't get as a tourist. I've staying with people of all sorts of shapes and sizes. Apart from sleeping on a couch at pretty much where ever I end up at a party, I'm looking forward to doing it more around the world more and more while taking in the sights.

Interests

Travel and making my way around the globe meeting interesting people and pushing myself to try new and unique experiences.

Playing music: Guitar, fiddle, tin whistle and drums.

Writing. Currently working on two books. One on travel and one on tech/life balance. Working on a new blog called www.readyforroad.com to document wellbeing and travel stories....basically somewhere to put my memories and maybe, just maybe someone might find them useful.

I'm a fan of world music as well as everything from David Bowie to Buena Vista Social Club. It's diverse and I don't expect everyone to like it...however, I love learning about new music and exchanging artists to look up.

Movies are a thing I never get enough time to go through but I love a good epic, gangster, prison and travel movies.

Books: Movie Night in Kathmandu, Secret Memoirs of Lord Byron, Shantaram, Siddharta, Unravelling the Mind and many more. Love a good book swap but currently all out of reads so any hosts who want to give me a good book, I'll love you forever for it.
