About Me
Hi!
My name is William. I am from Quebec, Canada ( The French speaking part of the country.) I am a friendly and open minded person. I recently graduated College in police technology program in Quebec, Canada. I used to work as a Cadet Police Officer at the Montreal Police Department (a civilian job) back when I was in college, and for a security services compagny as well. I currently work as a salesman in a e-cig store. I have done a lot of voluntering since I was in College, primarely as security in various evenements. I also recently joined the Big Brothers movement in 2015, as a Big brother for a younger teen. It has been so far a wonderful and enriching experience.
I have the strong belief that a fun and enjoyable CS experience primarely comes from respecting the host's house rules and his/her boundaries, while sharing skills, stories, culture, ect...I'm a pretty good houseguest (at least as far as I know), as I'm pretty self-sufficient and can look after myself. If I'm staying with a host and they're busy, I'm quite happy to keep to myself and not bother anyone. All I need is a spot on the floor somewhere to unroll my sleeping bag at night and I'm all set. I really hate to be demanding or to impose on anyone so I'm generally very clean and tidy and try not to be a nuisance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I created an account on CouchSurfing a couple years ago, but never really used it (I was and still am mostly using AirBnb).
I think Couchsurfing is an awesome opportunity to have an unforgetable travel experience, with the bonus of being a very cost efficient way to have a roof on your head. I want to make friends all over the world. I see the Couchsurfing experience as a way to meet people and experience new things, more than a hosting service.
Interests
I like swimming, and I would like to learn to play the guitar. I know some Judo and Jiu Jitsu moves. I like watching cartoons like Family Guy and American Dad, I think i have watched every season like 7 times. I know a thing or two about computers and other electronic devices, and would glady help you repair yours if you ever needed help. I would gladly give you help around the house if needed. I love to try new things like food, and activities. My personal motto is to always try before you decide you like it or not

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite actor is undoubtly Leo. I loved the Wolf of Wall Street, as well as Shutter Island. My other favorites are Click with Adam Sandler, Into the Wild with Emile Hirsch, Jurassic World, and The Lion King (Yes, I have no shame in admitting it as a 22 years old grown man, I love it)
What I Can Share with Hosts
French is my native language. I'd be glad to help you learn a couple of words and sentences of it if you are interested.
I also like to cook. I can cook a variety of French Canadian meals, and I also make delicious olive bacon and cheese omelets. I can also make Sushis. I love cooking and showing my local food to people while abroad.
I'm very happy to clean and help out around the house. I absolutely hate to be a burden on hosts so, whatever I can do to help, I'm glad to do it. Or walking dogs (I love dogs), or doing a bit of gardening for you, whatever might be helpful. If you need help with your electronic devices, I will gladly help you with that.
