ABOUT ME

My life revolves around fly fishing, I live and work on the River Dee as a salmon fishing guide until the winter where I seek warmer climates and adventures across the globe.
I love to travel, experience other cultures and make new friends along the way. I enjoy cities and the buzz that comes with them but am happiest when exploring the great outdoors,hiking, usually fishing and camping under the stars.

Life is about living our dreams and not putting them into a drawer labelled someday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host: You can see scotland through our lives of tweed, salmon fishing and country sports. I can show you walks through the cairngorms, the local places to see, and teach you to fly fish on the famous River Dee.
As surfer: Much of travelling is not just the places you see but the people you meet. I have some great freinds I have made through couch surfing and planning to visit them in their country, its a great way for us to share our cultures, hobbies and favourite places and something that only couchsurfing can offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my experience couchsurfers are like minded people and it never takes long before we become good friends. The best part for me is making friends all over the world and hearing to peoples story's.
