About Me
<< Big Dog Alert>>
Since moving back to Belgium I have a big dog that is a sweetie, but reacts quite intimidatingly towards strangers. If you are scared of big dogs, my apartment will not be for you.
Hello!
I'm a 29 years old data scientist at the Flemish government. I studied Organizational Psychology, International Business and Entrepreneurship.
(These are a lot of subjects, so maybe we could talk more about these when we meet?)
I've been playing basketball for about 25 years and I'm still as much in love with it as I was the first years. I used to be quite obsessed with playing sports, but recently have found a passion into working with my hands and creating something.
I'm very friendly, easy to hang with, and sociable. I like deep conversations, joking around or just having a silent walk with my dog and enjoying nature. I used to be very introverted, but the past years and adventures have opened myself more and taught me to accept myself as I am. I love adventures, walking around and getting lost in thoughts and lost geographically.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Long time ago, I heard a lot of commotion around couchsurfing, but never took the chance/risk(?) to actually try it. But here I am, standing proud, with open arms and an open mind.
//update
I have hosted several guests now and they have all managed to touch my heart somehow and in return a piece of my heart travels along with them on their adventures.
Will you become my next guest and friend?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling all by myself to different countries without knowing the language or any people living there. Studying abroad, working abroad.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer comfort, trust, respect and deliciously self-made lasagna.
I love talking about everything.
I know Dutch, English, decent French, some German and some Greek.
I am not messy, I can't say the same for my dog.
I can cook.
I'm very flexible.
I love spending time with others but I'm also just fine on my own.
