ABOUT ME

Graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill in the Spring of 2013 with a degree in English Literature. Earned honors in creative writing; still write regularly, and hope to write a book one day, though now more than anything my creative lens is simply open to the world, gathering material. Spent the Summer and Fall season working at a wilderness camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I took up contra dancing and hiked often. Yearning to travel and to learn and to make my way in unfamiliar places using my head and two hands.

Interests

More than anything I spend my time working and writing, watching movies, hiking, and dancing (swing, waltz, contra), when I can. Though times I just linger and muse with other human beings that I care about - around a table, over dinner-in-the-making, and occasionally around a good campfire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking while in Ireland my brother and I found a hidden lake nestled in a one of the uppermost basins of a mountain range skirting along the Dingle Penninsula. The water was beautiful and the grass green and everything was at its most vivid. It was just my brother and I and I knew then and there it was the most beautiful place I had ever been. I don't know if I've ever been more present.
