ABOUT ME

I graduated with a PhD in geology, in the south of France and Canada, but I'm originally from Paris. I studied Meteorite Impact Craters. After founding my own vegan food company and selling on festivals for a few years, i’m now working as a geologist as well.

I love traveling and discovering new people and cultures. I've traveled to many places, being for tourism (Europe, North Africa), studies (Canada) or international volunteering (Burkina Faso).

My passions include wildlife photography and music.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to enjoy the life simply as it comes. I am for peace, love, happiness and sharing between all beings. I like to think and share my ideas with people to improve our world and the way we live with each other.

One of the most important values for me is Education. I believe most of the problems faced my humans so far are due to a lack of knowledge and education.

After learning about the ongoing mass extinction, I adopted a vegan life-style six years ago and was amazed by the improvement on my health and the positive change it created around me. Since then it is part of my philosophy of always improving the way I live, interact and impact the world around me. I am currently trying to reach a zero-waste lifestyle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have my own apartment anymore so unfortunately I cannot welcome guests. Me and my bestfriend are travelling a week to Vancouver so we are looking for a place to stay and share our skills and knowledge (and everything else we can offer!) to our hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in 2014 in Prague when I participated in a CS meeting event (Czech Republic) while doing a tour of Europe.

I've been couchsurfing a lot at friends' during this trip. As a geologist, I am very used to travel backpacking to crazy places with a minimum of equipment.

Interests

Nature, Science, Friends, Earth & Space, Animals, Nutrition, traveling of course! and as a french, I have to say: eating! I also love to dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been in a rock band for some years so I really like playing some classic songs with a guitar! I enjoy many kinds of movies (especially SF and horror movies) and philosophical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping for 1-month in the Arctic desert! (first town is a day-flight away)
No shower there! River and baby-wipes washing! Wolves were investigating our camp :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious and always like to hear your stories and learn all i can! I'm of course super happy to share my stories and knowledge about Science (and SF!), rocks, plant-based nutrition and other cool stuff!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach about the French and Moroccan cultures (food, how to wine tasting, people, etc), about Earth Sciences, about the countries I visited and a lot of crazy travel stories!

As a passionnate vegan, I like to cook and I'm always happy to make you try some good food! :)
