CURRENT MISSION

Trying to get my Captains License! I will be spending my summers in Alaska and Winters in the Bahamas. Will be traveling for a week at a time once a month. Would love to meet new personalities and learn more about the earth.

ABOUT ME

Traveling is whats important to me. I get along with people who try to respect the earth. I'm more of a backpacking kind of guy than a Cruiseship kind of guy. My favorite place to be is on a mountain in sub-alpine terrain. I play soccer, work on boats and enjoy books.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm new to the site but love the idea of it. My belief is that the world is full of stereotypes which drives fear into people. This fear keeps people from traveling. I believe that this website can serve as an educational bridge hovering over those fears and stereotypes. Peace is found through understanding. Understanding is found through travel and interaction!

Many books but recently I am interested in the buddhist author Thich Nhat Hanh. Great writings of peace, mindfulness and understanding social change.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go to Alaska on the Alaska State Ferry and meet locals. Go hiking to the top of Deer Mt In Ketchikan and you will be blown away. Check out Misty Fjords National Monument.
