Overview
About Me
I live everyday with the philosophy that I can create my own happiness. I love being surrounded by positive people and I'm always ready to try new things. Currently I am studying Supply Chain and Finance with a minor in Leadership at the University of Minnesota. As much as I like to learn in the class room, I'm excited for the opportunity to learn and grow from the people I met through my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've gotten multiple recommendations that it is the most interesting way to travel Europe. Staying with people that know the area and can suggest the best activities makes for the most unique opportunity to see the world. It's also a way for me to share stories, I'm an extrovert and enjoy a good conversation!
Interests
My favorite activity in the world is alpine skiing. Ever since I have been three years old I have used skiing as my escape from the everyday stress in the world. I continue to ski race at the University of Minnesota and try to travel to the mountains as frequently as possible. I enjoy the mountains, but more importantly the outdoors and hiking. Most importantly I like to be outside and connecting with the people and places around me.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is How to Win Friends and Influence People because of the emphasis on mixing business and life. There are many people who use business to make more money than the next person, this book teaches the idea that the relationships made along the way are worth more than the money. The first band that I listened to religiously was Coldplay, from there they opened up my interest into alternative rock. Finally, my favorite movie would have to be The Pursuit of Happiness, but I'll laugh at pretty much any comedy movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my senior year of High School my family hosted an exchange student from Berlin. We became so connected that I consider him a brother that now lives half way around the world. I hadn't experienced much outside of the United States and he opened my eyes to what the world has to offer.
