ABOUT ME

I got married to the love of my life in 2013 and became a father to a beautiful baby girl in 2017 and have a son due in May of 2019. I served in the Texas Army National Guard for 6 years, from 2005, my Junior year of high school, through 2011, during which I served one tour in Iraq. After an eight year break of service, I recently reenlisted into the Air National Guard, which I believe will be a great opportunity for my family. My wife and I love to travel and try to do it every opportunity that we get. There is nothing like being able to experience the many different cultures first hand, and meeting new people from around the world. I love to have adventure in my life and I'm all about just getting out there and living life to the fullest!

Live life to the fullest while I have the chance! I am not guaranteed another day, so capture each day as if it is my last.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the opportunity to host anyone yet, but now that my wife and I have a house, I hope to be able to do so soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled to California and throughout that trip, I couch surfed with a couple people and I had nothing but good experiences from it! The people I stayed with were so awesome and didn't have one complaint the whole time. I definitely look forward to doing more couch surfing in the future and hopefully hosting others as well.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was Iraq I got the opportunity to do a tour of Abraham of the Bible's house and it was quit amazing to walk in his footsteps and to see history over 4,000 years old! I have seen a ton of amazing things from Europe to Canada to Thailand and it's hard to say what's really my favorite. I have ridden an elephant through the exotic jungles of Thailand, as well as bathed with some elephants in the river, while riding bareback with my legs around it's neck and holding onto his ears. During that same trip, I had the awesome opportunity to touch a tiger. I have been in the Roman coliseum and experienced it's greatness. While in Canada, I was awed by the incredible wilderness that surrounded me, and was even able to touch and feed a wild bald eagle. I have so many amazing things I have been fortunate enough to do, that I could probably write a book, but that's a few things.
