To meet with, talk and smile with local people in all areas that i travel to. To understand and interact with great people who can share their experiences with me and share my experiences.

ABOUT ME

I love to meet people with a sense of identity on this Earth, people who know themselves and are ready to share their experiences with others.

I enjoy reading, singing and whistling.

I love to cycle and kayak, and i spend as much time out of the house as possible. I find being outdoors and close to nature allows me to express myself and i enjoy watching the world go by.

I am a good listener, and i love to laugh and smile with new friends.

I love cooking and eating food of all types. I like the smell of cut grass but not baked beans!

PHILOSOPHY

I wish to enjoy every minute of every day. I love to wake up early and get the most out of each new opportunity that comes my way. I love to make people laugh and smile.

I think that we are all born in this world as equals and with a clean slate, and as we grow and change our inner self is moulded through experiences and emotions that we encounter along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hearing about local traditions and seeing how locals interact with each other. I love to sing, dance and taste new foods.

I will be happy to help around the house and repay the huge favour of allowing me to share your home. Whether it be cooking or cleaning, running errands or just listening, i know that there are lots of things that can be done to repay any deeds done for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been lucky enough to couch surf in China, where I met some truly interesting individuals who gave me the opportunity to view a world famous artists studio, attend a wedding and community meetings. I was able to see so much more than anyone visiting without the learned knowledge of the local area and you sometimes end up staying in an area unknown to guides and recommendations - wonderful!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zhangjiajie national forest park - the most beautiful rock formations and breathtaking scenery

Fujian Tulou - ancient roundhouses in which i stayed several nights. These buildings are amazing and they have to be seen to be believed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am well spoken and understand how difficult it is sometimes to understand people who speak english too quickly! I like to teach english but not to correct the way people speak. i am aware that i speak little of other languages and i am ready to share my english language with people who want to learn.I can teach lots of card games! i have picked up many along my travels and always enjoy teaching and learning card games to people i meet.I am willing to share any of my skills which i possess. singing and whistling are my two best skills but they are very hard to teach!
