About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Cycle around the world
ABOUT ME
On March 1st 2012, I left my home in Gloucestershire, UK, to cycle around the world. I have no idea how long this will take. Still no sign of stopping.
PHILOSOPHY
Live a little.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Requiem for a Dream, Groundhog Day, In the Loop, Fight Club, Inglorious Basterds, Vicky Christina Barcelona, The Constant Gardener, 50/50, Black Swan, Fried Green Tomatoes, La Haine, Drive etc...
Music: different types. I will try to explain my theory of how a lot of rap is poetry (it is!). You don't have to listen.
Books: As I walked out one Midsummer's Morning - Laurie Lee (a top travel inspiration), Millennium Trilogy. Harry Potter audiobooks for cycling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked 3 months to build a school from scratch in Cameroon. Cycled the Pamir Highway. Drank Lithuanian beer. Ate soup with people in Laos. Saw Imam Reza Shrine, Mashhad, Iran.
And the bonus cliche: witnessed countless people all over the world, of all means and ideologies, give their time to help me on my way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: how to make a dragon by twisting your fingers together in a magic way (painful), how to disappear a piece of paper and find it behind a kid's ear (works 50% of the time) and how to say 'how are you' in a Cameroonian language spoken by less than 100,000 people (useful).
