About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey!
I'm a 24 year old french student. I study Theater and Performance. I was born on a small island called New Caledonia, it's in the Pacific Ocean. And it's a veeeeery beautiful place.
I'm discrete and polite, but it doesn't mean I'm no fun!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy taking my time. I would better take the bus, a bike, or walk than use the underground trains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For adventures!!

And because I'm a poor student of course.

Interests

I have a major interest for Arts and History

I like every sport that involves water: when I was young I used to be in a swimming club. I also did some water polo, underwater rugby, and underwater hockey. And I enjoy sailing, kayaking and I would love to try rowing.

Let's end with Cooking, and Eating! My friends call me "the King of Cakes" (nothing to do with the French expression "tronche de cake")

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I have a recent passion for Satyajit Ray's movies. I like old black and white films. I also like animation, and sometimes also blockbusters.
I also watch (too many) series.

Music:
I'm a pain in the ass. I mainly like old French textual songs which other people find boring. Also I rarely like music with no voice because speach and words are very important to me. That's why I also am much into operas.
But don't get afraid, I listen to all kind of stuff (well not like... Miley Cyrus... but like... other stuffs)

Books
Wooooo. I love books. Books everywhere in my room. I mainly read end of 19th to 20th century litterature.
I read a lot of theater, because this is my field of study: Jean Genet, Samuel Beckett, Wajdi Mouawad, are among my favorite. Kafka too.

Keith Haring's journal is my reference book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming to life. WOW

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French of course, I have actually done it with Austrian kids during my Erasmus.

I would love to improve my German. I am actually passionate about languages, so even a few words in you native language are fine with me.

I'm trying to learn how to sew.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make a very good chocolate cake, and I know the recipe by heart.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vanuatu

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Austria, France, New Caledonia
