CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to live life through the portal of anticipatory joy. I've been doing some pretty intense and beautiful healing work recently and meeting people through couch surfing seems a wonderful way to expand my world!

ABOUT ME

I am a six foot tall one-legged womyn named Willow, so most people who meet me, remember me. I am fascinated by sharing stories of our human journey here on beautiful and fragile planet Earth. I am a mother and a grandmother and love being with children. I've had a rich life from learning from childhood cancer to hitchhiking around the U.S. in the 70s to studying healing. Love to meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy waking up each morning and taking a deep breath and feeling gratitude. I'm a laid back person and love to learn from my own journey through life and learning from others, human and otherwise, looking for teachers in all things to assist me in waking up to unlimited possibilities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to participate in couch surfing because I think it's a cool way to connect with others and to share living space and to help each other out as we travel and learn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been active now with Couchsurfing for over a year now...my son and I did a 5300 mile road trip and stayed overnight with a couchsurfing host in Lake Tahoe, California and I have now hosted a bunch of couchsurfers at my home and it has been a fabulous experience!

Interests

I like reading...listening to live music...knitting...yoga and qigong...drum circles...healing stories...hanging out with children...traveling...photography...collage...connecting with others!

Music, Movies, and Books

Most recent favorite movie...The Biggest Little Farm...Wow! What incredibly, stunning images of nature and such a great story!
Reading books on Chinese and Tibetan Medicine as I am actively studying both forms of medicine...enjoy reading books about healing.
Like lots of different kinds of music...have twin sons that are musicians...and enjoy being around musical folks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the island of Kauai to work with a Tibetan physician and several other healers to avoid surgery for a large tumor and had a life shifting experience...would love to share the magic of the island and my shift with anyone who would like to know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to share stories of healing and my journey through cancer and alternative medicine practices.
I love to learn new songs that I can sing in the car while I'm traveling!
