i will travel anywhere on no notice, the more random, the better. otherwise, i like simple things: good conversation, good bottle of wine, music, laughter, the ocean and the moon, and being blessed to live in Santa Cruz where I can surf, kayak, ride my bike, walk my dogs on the beach and be blissfully happy

Music: (everchanging) right now I can't stop listening to Eddie Vedder's "No Ceiling" (like 5000 times), Tupac (everything) and Kanye (yep, even with the ego, i love the music), Cranes, Zero 7, Celebrity Skin, Tiger Army and Turbonegro live, for contemplative Aphex Twin, Tori Amos and Dustin Halloran

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in a hot air balloon in the Loire Valley, and the balloon was piloted by a guy who competed for Air France. What was amazing was not what you would think (getting dunked in rivers or stuck in trees and pulling out--which we did). When the balloon floated low, over fields, you could see all the animals scurrying within the crops, there was so much activity going on, and i was quietly a part of the whole of nature, not the observer or destroyer.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach/share skills to mentor at risk teens.
i can teach/share the law and how to write a good paper.
i am intuitive, but not on cue, so, sometimes i can tell you what is going to happen (sometimes my friends are afraid of this)

i want to learn to meditate more traditionally and to better control how/when i receive intuitive information.
i want to learn to surf better. I am uncoordinated, but tenacious
