Mission? hmm...to see as much of the world and to meet as many great people as is possible to fit into one lifetime..if one lifetime is not enough...then i plan to apply for another one or an extension!!

Hmmm difficult to say...meet me and then you can make up your own mind:) I think I am a friendly person and I am always interested in other people. I think that everyone has a story and I wanna hear as many stories as I can. I am open, out going and i think I repect people too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i guess I am helping with this project in my own small way by being a base for any travellers passing through:) I used to be able to put up any guest who requested but since we had our daughter it is not so easy...I guess we can still host if in an emergency although space would be a bit limited:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have been unofficial couch surfing for many years now, staying at friends houses but this kind of site is the first time I have done anything "official" :) I have just had a girl from HC stay with me and I have had many friends stay too..

Interests

I am most interested in travelling, exploring and finding out about people and cultures from all over the world...I think life is too short so we should make the most of it! I also love football, music, reading walking in mountains, nature and the usual:)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read a lot and am interested in all kinds of books....I really like books about travel adventures as if I am unable to travel right now then it is good to read a book and feel you are there with the author! I like all kinds of movies too, and I`m interested in movies from different countries. As for music, yes, I am interested and again all kinds...I am always open to any suggestions:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world...I can`t really list just one thing but being able to travel and see just how beautiful the world is...well that is amazing!!! Also I lived through the huge earthquake and tsunami that we had here in Japan 5 years ago. My city here was badly hit but luckily we were ok. I helped out with lots of volunteer work and saw some pretty terrible things up and down the nearby coast...not sure if this counts as an '' amazing thing I have done'' but it was certainly a big event in my life here!

hmmm tough questions...I like to think that I have travelled a bit and I always like to pass on any information or any tips that I have picked up along the way. I know that it really helps people if you are going there sometime:)
