Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I'm currently going through a very difficult time in my life, and I'm hoping to use travel as one way to seize hold of hope again. Grief is crippling, and while I must allow myself to feel through this process, I also want to look for ways to enjoy life again.

Interests

I grew up in a very literary home and am a bit obsessed by books, especially used ones. I love libraries and and have worked in two.

I delight in visiting used book shops, second hand stores and antique stores in search of treasures.

I own my own craft business. I sell crochet and felted goods on Etsy and at local markets and fairs. I am a tiny bit obsessed with crochet and miniatures.

I love to travel and have lived overseas. I would like to be able to travel more now that I'm single and a little bit more independent.
