About Me

ABOUT ME

I come from Sydney, Australia, and have spent the last few years in the corporate world. I've decided to resign and disappear to Central Asia for Summer of 2016. Look forward to meeting you all.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything we are told about different cultures, religion, and how unsafe the rest of the world is is complete bullshit! We turn on the news and there's Iranians burning the American flag and drug wars in Mexico. It's not true! Turn off the news and see the world.

"When you travel you do new things, you meet new people, you grow wiser, you grow smarter. A person who just knows their own block doesn't know anything about the world. You gotta travel the world and know the world. Not everybody's the same, not everybody thinks the same. This is what makes the world special" - Pete Rock.
Not my philosophy but still a good one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been away from this for a while, yet love to host and show couch surfers good Sydney beaches, and the culture of Sydney, and answering any questions travelers may have about living in Sydney. I also couchsurf as much as possible with people when I'm abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spending a month couchsurfing with Mehdi and his family in Bangladesh was definitely the most memorable, staying with Souka and her extended family in Morocco, sleeping on a hotel roof in Iran thanks to Balal and having beers and going surfing with people in Sydney has also been awesome.
