Overview
About Me
Grew up in Congo, a little village on the South East coast of Australia. Moved to Canberra to study and lived in the Canberra Student Housing Co-operative - a vibrant, independent community with 29 students living together and co-ordinating various aspects of life together to make things easier, more affordable, more inclusive and more fun!
Adventuring around Europe, hitchhiking, couchsurfing and exploring, hoping to meet cool like-minded souls in every place I go to.
Moved to Berlin in 2016 and very content with life, not sure how long I'll stay here, but absolutely love this city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love meeting new people and couchsurfing provides travellers with much more than a bed to sleep on, I want to meet interesting people and hear their story and hopefully see their world through their eyes. Want to de-rail the concept of the stranger, as everyone I hold dearly to me was at one point a stranger to me.
When I was living in Canberra we had a couple of couchsurfers come and stay with us and it was really cool to meet people and share stories and show them cool things to do/see in Canberra...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done - was taking part in Rotary Youth Exchange to Germany in 2012. I lived in a small town about two hours train ride from Berlin and immersed myself in the culture and language of Germany. Living one year in an entirely different culture and society taught me a lot about myself and ignited an innate desire within me to travel and experience the world through meeting new people and being open to new opportunities and experiences. Throughout my exchange I also met some of the most amazing people from all over the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is all about learning and growing as a person based on the opportunities and experiences that you seek out or find you... I am very keen to learn about other people's experiences with life, especially any travel experiences or interesting stories.
I can teach you some slang from Australia or some typical Australian songs.
I really like exploring and finding cool things to see/do so I'd love to share new experiences with you!
