About Me

I am a blessed, peaceful and grateful guy. I like to listen and also chat, laugh and walk around. After travel for so many places, definitely, the best way to do it is meeting people, tasting all kind of food and getting lost in the city streets. OMG how I love it!

Sara is my wife and life partner. Now we are traveling together, no return ticket. Our dream has always been to be digital nomads. We stop dreaming and we are trying make come true. Life is all about this, right? To know more about her, thats Sara's profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/sara-otoni

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of solidarity economy and share. My dream trips are those that add me something as a human being, friendships and stories. Everything else is background to this mutual exchange. So, I just embrace every opportunity of this kind of experience on the road.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into the wild and 127 hours

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I did volunteer work in Africa for a year. I came back, but my heart is still there.
- I camped in the middle of the salt desert with a native family.
- I made an eight-day trail at Mount Roraima.
- Probably I met more waterfalls than countries.
- I traveled from Germany to India without flying for 1 year and a half, passing through 24 countries.
- I got married in 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic.
- I have a travel blog called "ei mãe, tô vivo", that means "hey mom, i'm alive!" (that says it all)

What I Can Share with Hosts

- I can share some experiences doing trekking and hitchhiking;
- I work with social media, so, we also can talk about it;
- To cook "brigadeiro" (sorry, my kitchen skills are limited, but Sara is great!);
- And always open to learn...
