I don't accept guests anymore.cause I am nearly retired and I am leaving for a big journey.
I have been traveling all my life. From the age of 15 I was hitchhiking through Europe. I don't like to stay in hotels. When I am not camping I prefer hostels because there you meet interesting people. Being a teacher I have 5 times during the year holidays till now I spent all my holidays outside the Netherlands. I have to work 3 months more and then I am retired. So I will walk from the south of Spain through the south of Portugal, up north to Santiago the Compostella or I start in France. Most of the time I will camp wild, but from time to time a bed will be nice.
Diemen is Amsterdam and I live in a typical old Dutch house with a wood fire and with a dog , a cat and a chicken. It's a really cozy old house
. We have had always guests from all over the world and I like people. My daughter is 22 and was making a world trip In the winter she is a ski instructor and in the summer she is working in Mallorca. I love reading so you will find bookshelves all over the house.

You will meet more interesting people. I can't afford to sleep in a hostel everyday and I like to welcome people in my own special home with one dog , a cat and one chicken. I never had a television but I have loads of DVDs and a screen of course

兴趣

Reading, travelling, swimming in open water but in winter in a nice warm pool, skiing, trekking (grand-randonnees), belly-dancing.
Going to the movies. I have a cinevillepas. So I go nearly everyday to the movies..
If the weather is too bad to go to the moviesI am looking one of my 500 DVDs.

In 1973 I squatted a farm near Amsterdam and I have been living there till 1993.
