I'm getting my feet wet into travelling and trying to meet people with whom I can learn and grow from. What better to travelling from home that travelling vicariously through guests and hosts!

Music is a pretty big passion of mine. I've been drumming since my mid teens and I don't ever plan on giving it up.

When I'm not beating on the drums or strumming my ukulele, I'm learning to cook as well as my mother does - a lofty goal, I know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not going to lie: the cost is part of the equation.

However, I do also strongly value making a connection with the places I'd like to go. Meeting someone local and having a good chat with them will always, in my opinion, beat reading about a location online or visiting it through commercial guided tours.

I drum for a band that plays hard rock music and I like to write little ditties on the ukulele.

Travelling is something that I'd love to get into more and more. I think I should explore my own backyard more before venturing out into the rest of the world; Canada is HUGE, after all.
