About Me
For anyone who has ever taken a Myers Briggs test: ESFJ (slight on the S&J, extreme on the E)
I am very self-aware and am not afraid to speak my mind, in an appropriate manner of course. I can also be quite shy in foreign situations - not to be confused with stand-off behaviour!
I have a diploma in Accounting and an advanced diploma in Public Relations.
I work at a local animal shelter and love it. It's not the typical shelter you expect to walk into; very clean and all of our animals get the love and attention they need to thrive. (www.citypound.ca)
There's a great volunteer program offered at Homeward Bound City Pound, and if you're ever in the area, I encourage you to check it out!
Also, if you're in the Dartmouth/Halifax area - I'd be more than happy to meet up and show you what's good. I'm huge into the food scene here; there's never too many places to eat while you're here!
So far I've explored some of Europe, South Africa, USA, Cuba and various parts of my own country. There is a plan in the works for a trip to Thailand next year, along with central america.
I love getting to know new people and making new friends; sharing stories and laughing is what I live for. I'm quite interested in peoples quirks - what makes you YOU?
I'm quite easy going, although I do like to plan rather than improvise haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm an indie-funk-rock-electronic kinda gal; I appreciate anything with a good beat.
Google play, blogged 50 playlist pretty well sums it up.
Movies: Anything romantic or raunchy; love me some Seth Rogen. I do not like to watch horror films as they scare me way too much, especially haunting ones (yes, I do believe in the spirit world).
Books: I have no particular favourite author; one of my girlfriends recommends books to me, and I read them. I tend to like the mystery ones best.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find furr-ever homes for abused, neglected and abandoned animals.
It couldn't be more rewarding reading update emails on animals that have settled in to their new families.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some good ol' Canadian stories; I'm from the East Coast and very much portray the lifestyle and attitude :)
I make a mean omelette, if you're into eggs.
