Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before couchsurfing, random interactions between myself and other travelers would occasionally happen. Mostly from struggling to read a foreign restaurant menu or just randomly on a bus. And those interactions have not only changed the course of my day, but sometimes the course of an entire trip. Couchsurfing makes these interactions and opportunities even easier to take advantage of. It really helps open minded travelers get swept away by the unexpected things in life.

Interests

Like everyone else here, I'm a huge wanderluster. Always curious to see, eat and experience new things. When I travel, I like to spend a few days in the city nomming on some great food. But what I really love is to get out into the wilderness, especially the mountains. I love camping and backpacking. The more natural the scenery, the better.
