Hi I‘m Wim, 22 years old and I live in Switzerland. I was born in Uster a town close to Zurich and I still live there. I made a degree in automative engineering and am now taking a gab year. I went to a Language school in Vancouver for the last three months and now want to travel the American continent with a friend.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of movies since childhood. Because my parents are working in a cinema I grow up with it. Today I’m a big fan of the Marvel cinematic universe and movies like Interstellar. I also enjoy the classics and am fascinated in the character of Sherlock Holmes.
I like hiphop, rap, reggae and Rock but im open to many kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most exciting things I’ve done is a road trip through Italy last year. We - girlfriend and close friends - traveled from Milan through the Toscana down to Rom. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the historical cities like Florence and Venice. The highlights were cinque terre, a beautiful and cute towns on the coast, and the impressive colosseum in Rome.

Teach, Learn, Share

My friend and I are good to have fun with and have lots of interesting stories to share. We are known for good discussions about politics, culture, science etc.
We like to cook and eat and like to share our cooking skills. we are also willing to cook for our host or serve her/him swiss specialties.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are will happily share our experiences and photos. Cooking a typical swiss meal would be a pleasure. We like to play table games and could maybe show you new ones.
