ABOUT ME

27 and trying to figure out how to lead the kind of life i dream of, which involves growing things and eating them, being a contemplative spiritual mystic, living in community, making music, saving the earth, communicating nonviolently, loving children, playing outside, opening people's eyes, connecting myself and others to the humus which makes us human...

I'm from the US, but have been in the "british isles" for the past year and a half working for a peace & reconciliation org. in Northern Ireland for 3 months, 4 months doing outdoor youthwork on the the Isle of Mull in Scotland and 8 months living with a contemplative religious community near Sligo, Ireland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

stayed with some folks for a night in Dublin and in Dunfanaghy in Donegal, and made some friends in Coleraine while I was living there! made friends with a host in Oban who i stayed with multiple times, and met an amazing family near Dingwall who hosted my parents and me when they came over to visit!

music, food - how to grow it and eat it and make sure it's healthy and sustainable-, nonviolence, community, deepening my spirituality, climbing trees, being enchanted by light and water and color and contrast, the smiles of children, the interplay of buddhism and christianity, books, nurturing people to wholeness and healing, living simply and as out of sync as possible with our unjust economic systems, camping, hiking, canoeing, composting, imagining.
