Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A nice Czech couple Radek and Zuzka came to stay with me in Budapest for a couple of days. Had a really cool time in Serbia staying with Lea for a few days. Inara and friend Eva from Latvia came to stay in Paris last minute one weekend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learnt fluent Italian in 6 months - not saying it to show off but just to share how. There's no secret:
Be openminded. Really, REALLY listen to the language. Live there and speak it the whole time, through the headaches and struggles. Have the confidence to talk to native speakers and also read, write and think to yourself as much as you can to really immerse yourself in the language, (if that's what you actually do want to get out of travelling!) If not then just have a laugh. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Usually I end up being the delegated event organiser among my friends and colleagues.

Underground wine bar? Rooftop club? Speak-easy hidden behind that door? Sure, I know the place ;p
