My name is Winfred Hwang and I'm a Korean American from Los Angeles.

I am currently hitchhiking and couchsurfing from Los Angeles all the way down to South America! My goal is to visit every country south of the United States relying on the kindness of strangers. I believe that there are more good people in our world than bad and my belief in humanity is fueling my adventure.

My goal is to meet as many people from all over the world and share stories and experiences while learning from every single person I encounter. I want to show the world that people are generous, kind, and magnanimous instead of the narrative that we see on the media that people that are foreign or different than us are evil.
