About Me
CURRENT MISSION
eat what you eat and drink what you drink
ABOUT ME
Well I'm a calm guy who really likes weirdly specific atmospheres like airports at night, triphop in a room with cosy lighting, having a drink under the night sky,...
Even though I'm asian my knowledge of asian stuff is limited. I only speak a very basic broken cantonese however I am interested in learning more about the languages and cultures in asia, and also other parts of the world.
I don't like night clubs at all, I'd rather sit down and maybe have a drink while getting to know people. I'm always down for a talk, if I'm with a group of people I find it easier to talk to one person.
I work as a web developer for a non profit that handles everything that combines multimedia and youth.
PHILOSOPHY
All I ask is one thing, and this is.. I'm asking this particularily of young people: Please do not be cynical. I hate cynicism, for the record it's my least favorite quality, it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen. I'm telling you, amazing things will happen.
- Conan O'brien
Interests
- Anything that has relations to visual design, I try to be better as a ux/webdesigner. Maybe pick up a little videography, I love those travel videos on vimeo.
- the calmer side of cultures, like how people from different cultures relax and have a good time. It always has something to do with food/drinks and talking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch...
anything that has some depth (dramas), truth (documentaries) or good humour (comedy).
I listen...
to sounds that can get me to another atmosphere (triphop/ambient/nu jazz/downtempo/..), makes me move (chillwave/raggeaton/dub/..) or gives me nostalgia (acoustic/rock/reggea/..).
I read...
stuff that helps me motivate my creative side (blogs/portfolios), gets me up to date with current events in the world or teaches me something about the past. I have a book on my nightstand of Murakami that I can't seem to finish. I like research explained with the help of a fictional story, no I'm not talking about religious books, try to get a hold of The Social Animal by David Brooks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dining late at night in an open air seafood restaurant by the lake in the Malaysian jungle...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some webdevelopment, but I'm really eager to learn as much as I can about webdesign (yes, there's a difference).
