CURRENT MISSION
If your life isn't an adventure then it's no life at all...
ABOUT ME
Aloha!
I'm Winlee (Win, for short) and I'm really thankful for the amazing people I've come across in the CS community. I love to embrace other cultures and will continue to learn from those in passing. So whether we meet for a quick drink at a dive bar, share a smile at a bbq, or exchange hiking stories, I'm always open for a new experience.
For work I am a private chef, so I can either make you something delicious if I have time or recommend as many places to eat or drink that you want. Chinatown is my haunt, so you’ll find me down there imbibing frequently.
If you are thinking about coming to Hawai'i or O'ahu in particular feel free to ask anything. I can tell you specific places to visit and where to stay. You will love it here if you ever come, so plan on packing more clothes and staying longer.
I've spent a few years involved in couchsurfing and a also as one of the ambassadors of Honolulu. I not around as often or as involved, however, I still mingle with the community in the ways I can.

About my island of O'ahu:
There are a lot of things to do, most being outside. I recommend that people who visit try to stay away from any "tours" or restaurant chains. There is so much more to Hawai'i than Waikiki, and you haven't seen a real beach until you've gone to the North Shore, Leeward or Windward sides. The water is clear and gorgeous, as well as breathtaking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I bring my Aloha Spirit wherever I go!
When I'm traveling I teach people about Hawai'i and try to transcend any stereotypes they may have about Hawaiians, Americans, or the LGBTQ community. Even if I am off-island I will try to help a fellow traveler in some way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done quite a bit of couchsurfing and have learned a lot from it. I can tell the difference between a freeloader and a genuine couchsurfer. I don't just let anyone surf with me. Know that. I expect people to read my profile before requesting to couchsurf.
