ABOUT ME

These questions look like another cover letter format, "who are you","why hire you","what can you contribute", but it's much more fun than writing that.

So, self-summary. I don't really know what exactly I am, friends describe me are passion on my major, positive, always busy but always happy, easy-going, independent, romantic, etc.

But I think I'm weird. I pay attention on details, like something just only because of a trivial detail, for example I like the author Andrew Solomon even I am not very interested of his topic, just because his presentation style: the intonation, logical structure, and his poetic metaphor amazed me and I follow his update to learn. So I always think 'why and what makes it so well', analysis the details to see the reason and pick up what I can learn from, not only a people, a conversation, an article, a painting, an event, but also at architecture, everything.

Yesterday I received a friend's postcard, maybe his message was a bit close to who I am?

"I think from the first time we met until now to be good friends, undoubtedly you are very cute and make people want to come to take care of, but you always do something amazing made everyone surprised. Plus your ambitions, your planning of life, high execution to do what you want, which make me truly admire. Wish you all the best."

There are so many travelling pics I post above, as 2 years ago I left home to UK to take an university double degree programme. That was my first time away from home, and was not sure when I will be back, so I treated every minute as the last to see the country and some places at EU. Travelling is always good to experience the world differences, but I need some times digest what I have learnt during trips, so this year I don't go outside that much, spend more time on my major marketing, attend business events to share thoughts, and organize talks to spread thoughts out.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm full of curiosity, passionate of life and like to learn new thing. To me I think every two single factors should have a connection even they might in completely different area. And I love finding out a connection to see the causal relationship which could help me come up with new idea .

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't have favourite movies and shows sadly, as those are something I couldn't finish alone, have to be someone accompany with me to watch, talk and laugh

Book!
I love reading, mainly on business and IT, trying to touch philosophy recently. Authors and bloggers I like are Andrew Solomon, Aaron Swartz, Rachael Botsman, Michael Lewis, Alice Gao, Lily Shen, etc. Famous author's work holds a certain good level by years, but fresh author and blogger's articles always give me surprised and motivated, so read their updates is my daily wake up work.

Oh music,
I learnt piano from 4 years old so I really can't live without music. Used to have a band :p like all styles but preference of metal, rock, boyband and, acoustic guitar!

Food

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 2014 easter break I went to New York for 2 weeks alone. When the first day arrived, I sat at the New York Public Library and wrote a very long letter to a new author I like, telling her how I found her blog and articles motivated me for months, encouraged her go on the writing career (as she shut up her blog recently which made me sad), at the end I inquired if it was possible to meet her personally. Usually people don't accept a stranger's request right? I just followed her blog but never left a comment or forwarded at all, so to her I was a totally stranger. But she said yes! Then I went to Harvard (which is her current graduate school) and had a dinner with her! Couldn't remember our conversation in the dinner but I was glad to meet the author and know she's living very well.
