About Me
Hi! I'm new to this couchsurfing thing as of May 2015. I used the site a bit for my trip this summer and it was a great choice and wonderful experience!
I've just graduated from a university in Washington D.C. where I studied Russian and International Relations, and am currently dealing with career type things in DC. A move to Ireland or Australia may be in the cards for next year, but for now all of you foreign people will have to come to me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a recently graduated student and travel addict, anything that saves me a bit of money is great! Also I'd like as much opportunity to meet locals as possible when I travel.
Unfortunately, I can't really host anyone in Washington because I live in a house with 6 other people and there is really no extra space, but I'm still happy to meet up if you'd like. HOWEVER, if you decide you just HAVE to stay with me and it's only for a few days, the carpeting on my floor is very thick and comfy.
I would love to visit Brazil, Italy, Greece, Thailand, the Bahamas, and Cuba in the next few years!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated high school I spent a year living in Siberia.
Teach, Learn, Share
This section sounds like it has great potential to be pretentious, so I'm just going to take it very literally! I have been an English teacher and conversation group leader in Russia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to help out with the house or anything you might need! Also English is my first language, if you need any help with that.
I also have a profile on Workaway.info, and I spent last summer traveling around Turkey and volunteering on organic farms, and this summer at a restaurant in Japan.
Countries I’ve Visited
Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Japan, Monaco, Norway, Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom
