Overview
About Me
Hi! We are Winnie and Lloyd.
We are two architects from Devon and Bristol, who have been together for 12 years. We have lived in Hackney, London, for 5 years and adore it here - proper local village vibes - its the best place!
We are cultural creatives who love art, architecture and photography who especially enjoy making things. We love our music, (all music! but mainly techno and disco) which is why living in London is so awesome as we can go to some of the best nights out going. We love going to festivals, especially Glastonbury and Dimensions. We are just starting to learn mediation which we are excited about.
Cooking is another of our all-time favourite things to do, and we love getting our friends together for dinners at our home, or BBQ’s at our local London Fields Park and having a good catch-up.
Both our jobs are working in the construction industry as architect and developer and we have a strong passion for sustainable design and community led projects.
We love meeting new people and having a good chit chat and of course we LOVE travelling!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are fellow travelers, who would LOVE to welcome other travelers into our own home, show them around our local area, and hopefully make some new friends along the way ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Charity Project: Pea Soup House
We gathered and led a team to design and build a pop up street food installation called Pea Soup House. This created an awareness campaign for Londoners about the horrific air quality situation by making air pollution visible through selling soup. We worked with a team of chefs, structural engineers, architects, graphic designers, and students to build pea soup house. It was amazing fun!
