About Me

I'm just a simple guy wanting to do more traveling and seeing the world. But let me skip all the dream and passion talks. I want to relay to my future hosts and friends about who I am if you was to host me:

- I grew up doing all of my house chores, so from laundry to cleaning the bathroom, you name it, I'll do it. So don't worry about me leaving mess behind.

- My mannerism was taught in Viet Nam, known to respect others, so don't worry about me blasting rock music at 2 am in the morning. I like sleep, too.

- I love to meet new people and learn their stories. So share with me your skills, experiences, knowledge, etc. if we were to ever met.

- Down right loud when having fun, so tell me to calm down if I get a little bit too obnoxious.

- Eat anything, I love food. Bizarre food? Even better, I love a challenge. I can also whip up a few dishes to share.

- Can sleep mostly anywhere. Grew up sleeping on bamboo mat, they ain't comfortable. So as long as I get a blanket, pillow and a roof over my head, I'm solid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not going to sugar coat it, it's affordable and cheap. However, the aspect of connecting, hanging out, and learning about cultures with locals are what drawn me the most to this amazing community.

My first international travel trip (study abroad in Japan) was over-the-top amazing. Not because it was spent eating a huge amount of sushi but because of my amazing time learning and having fun with the locals (college students, teachers, and citizens). I want that experience when traveling, and I believe Couchsurfing is the best community that offers just that.

Interests

If you see the list of snippets of my interests, I'm a big fan of being active. So whether it be climbing 1000 meters up the mountain's peak to see the sunrise or kicking the sand up in a 100 degree heat near the beach, count me in. I'm also a snotty little beer drinker, I LOVE BEERS! I also love to share a story or two over beer. I don't know, beer and good conversations go well with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

- If you get to experience my playlist on Spotify, prepared to say "wtf!" because my taste in music is very very random. I listen from Bruno Mars to K-Pop then jumps to Classical and end up with Eletronics. Basically, anything that makes me go, "Ah, I can jam to that".

- I'm a big fan of watching movies, the good ones. However, the best movie I love to watch the most is Freedom Writers. It was a simple movie based on a true story but moved my heart

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not to brag, but I've met Gordon Ramsay. If you don't know who he is, Ramsay is a foul-mouthed celebrity chef that appears on Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen. But he really is nice in real life.

Back to the amazing thing I've done. I've ran a half-marathon, if that's considered cool.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To me, nothing is worth sharing than knowledge, love, and stories. I can offer all. Now, if you're not down with those, I can always sous vide a nice piece of steak, if you like meat :)
