Hey! My name is Winslow and I am a photographer, videographer and writer from Seattle. I currently live in San Juan and work full time creating images. I'm fluent in Spanish and have studied/worked in Spain, Argentina and Colombia. When I travel I prefer to spend my time slowly getting to know each place rather than popping from destination to destination. I'm more than willing to teach anyone interested in learning about photography!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always like to immerse myself further outside of just hostel lifestyle. I'm a storyteller and my best experiences around the world have always come from becoming friends with the locals and seeing how they live their lives!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock and roll! Or Reggae...and reggaeton...or hip hop. Really there arent a lot of musical styles I don't like, but that doesn't mean I'm one of those people that says "oh I like everything" and listens to Top 40. I'll switch from The Allman Brothers to Kendrick Lamar to Calle 13 without thinking twice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year in Medellín teaching English and working at the international NGO Alliance for Responsible Mining. I love Colombia and its people. If you have ever been or are interested in going I can tell you all about it!
