Singing, narrating, listening, conspiring, inspiring, wordwhimsying, folkdancing, cooking, foraging, hobbit-hole ornamenting, deadlifting, stoneheaving, cycling, land-striding, cold-sea swimming, excavating (bins), meadmaking, feasting, hosting unforgettable evenings.
Also: Taking care of (and befriending) the relic embodied envivified people; artesan archiving; creative writing; snooping and sneaking after midnight; carrying car-loads of stuff w/o a car; mingling Nature+Culture.
My work involves the Eurasian, Alpine & Atlantic languages / peoples, but also folk-cultures/languages all over. I fit into every social class, and have worked a job or had a hobby that gives me an in with almost any kind of person. My current job is in mentoring, supporting and home-providing for people with broad-spectrum disabilities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted at International & Lothlorien Co-op in Wisconsin, and near the Irish Sea in Aberystwyth. I like CS as a conduit to exploring intentional communities and domestic subsistence.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted twice in Madison Community Co-ops, once in Wales, once near the Yahara River in Madison Wisconsin. I have sponsored my own guests in spare or shared rooms at Madison Community Co-op houses in Madison.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
