About Me

ABOUT ME

Spontaneous, love to travel and eat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always had a great time with CS hosts and discovering the life they live. I want to meet more people and learn more from them, exchange stories, cultures, and food. The experience gives me a more personal feel than booking a hotel room somewhere and being a tourist.

Interests

Sstargazing, snorkeling, kayaking/canoeing, hiking, learning ukulele, singing & dancing.

Learning, reading, eating/cooking, crocheting/knitting

Music, Movies, and Books

Books... :D Harry Potter, Michael Crichton, The Alchemist, The Four Agreements

Movies/shows... The Rush Hour series is one of my all-time favorite series. I love watching any sci-fi, fantasy, and animated movies/shows. :)

Music... oldies-slow rock music, reggae, slow jazz, Hawaiian music, Vietnamese music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a volcano and watched it erupt all night long, skydiving, scuba diving with whale sharks, full moon party, rode an elephant & ostrich, hot air balloon, motorbiked around Thailand & Vietnam, rode a bullet train, slept in capsule hotel, hiked all the way down and up Grand Canyon in one day, snorkel-ed with sharks and manta rays, trekked in a jungle for 3 days

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about Vietnamese language, culture, history, and vegetarian food.

I would like exchange ideas with diverse sets of people. I also like learning little knacks like macrame, tying knots, juggling, massaging, etc. :D I would also like to practice more yoga.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, and can make traditional Vietnamese food. I believe that food is one of the best things in the world that connects people across the globe; that said, I would love to share. :)
