ABOUT ME

I am a friendly progressive person living in Vancouver. I have been told that I am funny and generally laugh at all jokes whether others find them funny or not.

Interests

I enjoy board games, video games and role-playing games. I also enjoy political debates and walking my dog. I love watching live music but that doesn't happen as often as I would like it to. I studied weaving college and enjoy crafts. I no longer have a loom but like to sew. My partner is an comic book artist and illustrator. We are fairly nerdy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am mostly into indie rock (the Mountain Goats, Architecture in Helsinki, Spokane, the Pink Mountaintops) occasionally metal (Coheed and Cambria) and more folk (Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen) than I should admit in the light of day. For books, I generally read science fiction but can occasionally be distracted by books on architectural theory.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to weave and enjoy crafting. I am a slow knitter and enjoy most forms of embroidery. I would really like to learn how to quilt.
