ABOUT ME

I'm a performance artist and a southern califonia native. I'm striving to work in theatre and film as an actor and designer as well. I'm a huge nerd: I love anime and comics and D&D (dungeons and dragons). I'm an avid reader and facebook addict. I'm currently attempting to learn Spanish and French (but we'll see how far i get). I enjoy dancing and singing and performance art (i'm a weird theatre kid what can i say)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life to the best of one's ability since we only have a short time on this planet. I'm not an angry person, and I try to let stress roll off my back. Why make things worse than they are? I believe in fun and friends and family and food. Hey alliteration! I love laughing and not hiding who I really am, no matter how silly I may be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Welp, i have hosted some, and i have surfed some. I have had a great time doing both, and as soon as i can, i will continue to host and surf :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted 3 lovely people so far. They were all wonderful, and 2 of them cooked dinner for us! It was very sweet.
My last surfers were 2 guys from Martinique, and they were great! We spent most evenings sitting around drinking rum, and i made breakfast the next morning.
One of said hostees just moved out to LA so i've been able to move him into the good friend category :)

Intereses

Anything nerdy really :)
And food. Love to eat, love to cook, love to talk about eating and cooking
Dancing (mostly ballet and modern)
I love performance art.
Horror films. Zombie flicks are amazing.
Krav maga and jujitsu. Nothing like coming home with skin missing from your knuckles, elbows and knees.

Música, películas y libros

Lots :) I love anime and any horror/thriller novel (Stephen King). Being a nerd I'm into comics and books like Harry Potter and any play.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I just spent two months backpacking around Europe. It was so amazing, and i made so many friends from around the globe. Other than that driving through the worst snow storm Canada had seen in 50 years to see "Evil Dead:The Musical" after only seeing snow once before in my life takes the cake.

My mom's side of the family is from Norway, my dad's side is from the southern United States. My sister married into a Mexican family and my roommate/best friend is Persian. I love learning about other cultures and am more than happy to share my information about my own.
